Context

Christmas, 2013 Merry Christmas once again!!! We hope you have had a wonderful and healthy year. All is fine herein North Carolina, Paul is busy with the printing business- it keeps him out of the house and away from the home computer where he would love to retire and do genealogy all day. He does get to do some on the weekends I have to work. I am still at Minute Clinic and always planning on a new place to visit. Paul had a Minuteman Press franchise trade show in Chicago in August- so while in the vicinity we also went to Wisconsin- saw the Dells, Oshkosh Air Show, Taliesin, House on the Rock, and Milwaukee. This winter- end of January/beginning of February, we are going to see some of the museums of Europe. We are going to London, Paris, Rome and Florence for 2 weeks- I figured the only time I would want to be inside at a museum was in the winter- plus, it is cheaper to go. This summer the O'Connor/Harris families got together at a beach house on Topsail Island in North Carolina. We had a blast and want to do it again next year. It was a 9 bedroom house/carriage house with a pool and was situated across the road from the ocean. Does it get any better than that? As far as our kids go: P J and Ari are in Charlotte- they seem to be happy there- I just wish we got to see them more often. Abby and Jay stay very busy with their 4 kids — Dublin, age 9; Collins, age 8; Weston, almost 5; and Linkin just turned 2, and let us not forget the 3 dogs.... My kids are still in the Northeast, so I try to get up there as often as I can. Katherine still has her 4 horses, 4 cats and one dog—she was able to take a week off in May to go with us to Hilton Head island- I just love that place. I actually had a nursing conference in September on Hilton Head- so I got to go a second week- I was in heaven. Peggy and John are expecting their third son in February. Connor is almost 4 and Tyler just turned 2. Connor is so sweet and Tyler reminds me so much of Peggy. I will be going up for almost a week in February just after I get back from Europe. I didn't plan that one too well, did I? Chris and Lindsey have Caden, who turned one in August- he is such a good baby and almost as big as Tyler. We are so blessed with healthy, wonderful children and grandchildren. Grandchildren are such fun, if I had known how much fun they would have been, I would have had them first. Until next year, best wishes to all—be safe, be happy, and enjoy life! Paul & Sue
