Dear Aunt Helen,
I am so sorry that you did not know that John and I were engaged. I feel terrible. I thought that mom had told you. Anyway, thank you so much for the card and the money. You are so sweet and thoughtful.
Well, I just finished my clinical and now I'm working a little bit at the hospital and working on my elective course with premature infants in the neonatal ICU. We've also started to plan the wedding. The tentative, semi-permanent date is June 14, 1997. I would really love for everyone to be there, but I know it is difficult to travel to Texas.
Everyone here is fine. Things are pretty hectic around here. Dad & Rob just moved in to a new apartment. They both have been working hard. Mom has been working hard, too, and is in the middle of trying to find a new place while cleaning out the house.
How is everyone up there? I hope well. I know you're busy, but if you get a chance, I would love to see a picture of the baby. I will try to send some pictures soon. When will you be heading to Florida again? How is your hip?
