Christmas 1994
SEASON'S GREETINGS!
It's time to get our yearly greeting on its way to those who have meant so much to us through the years.
Most of 1994 was a busy one for us at the office but since the Fed started raising the interest rate a few weeks ago business has slowed way down.
Wencl has been able to get back to his task of finishing the upstairs bathroom - says it will be done by the first of the year (???!!!???). He still keeps busy with the city and county development groups, politics and Knights of Columbus and other church activities.
Cathy has been working full time, getting in a little golf and a lot of babysitting so doesn't find herself with too much spare time. We are so thankful to have the grandchildren so close so we can share so much of their lives, building and treasuring memories. This past week Cathy spent the whole week at Dan and Lori's with the children while Dan and Lori attended a computer school in Eugene, Oregon. She loved every minute of it. The children were so good. Kendra went to day care and Thomas to school while she worked and she picked them up and took them home after work. Both of us till sing in the church choir and participate in study groups at church.
Dan and Lori are both working at the office and try to get away for a couple of long weekends of snowmobiling during the winter. The are delighted we got snow last week while they were gone. They spend as much time as possible at Clear Lake during the summer boating and water skiing. Dan is also a Boy Scout Leader.
Thomas will be six in February, graduated from Pre-School in May and began kindergarten this fall. They go all day, every day but that doesn't phase him. He thinks school is GREAT. He went golfing with Grandma a couple of times at the end of the season and loved it so Grandma got him a junior set of clubs and is all ready to break in a new golfing partner. We've always had such a good time together - he's a fun little kid to be with.
Kendra was two in October and isn't going to be outdone by her brother in anything. She is really talking now - in sentences or long phrases and really comes up with some good ones. She is a busy, busy little lady with a real sweet disposition but can hold her own when she needs to. She, too, is a great pal, always ready to go.
We hope this finds all of you well and happy and that 1995 will hold many blessings for you.
Love,
{Cathy and Wencl}

We hear you're flying again - & glad to hear it. Would love to see all of you at our next reunion.
