Dear Dick:-
Just to remind you of our warm invitation to you to come and spend Christmas or any part of the holidays with us. We'll be glad to have you come anytime. Of course, we realize with Mother's rather precarious health you will want to be with her some. But let us know of your plans as we will all be glad to see you.
How did the reunion pictures come out? Be sure and save us a set and we will reimburse you for them.
It has been a hectic and heavy two months with Dr. McConaghy flat on his back with virus pneumonia. He will be back next Sunday the first time since October-so I have had my hands full.
I am trying to write Mother once or twice a week now. We must keep up her spirits.
I had a funeral last week of a retired engineer who ran the 20th Century Limited for many years on the N.Y.C. Met many engineers afterward - so I have it all set for you to spend a day on railroading if you like. You might like to try "The Beeliner" (between Buffalo and Syr.). A lot of people think it is a great connection.
Hope you are closing up your school work and will get some rest. Last night in our Church pageant, Jimmy blurted out as the wise men went by: "O mamma, look at the witches!"
Sorry to hear of Aunt Lucy's passing. Did you get down to the funeral? Hoping you can be with us,
With love from us all,
Jim
