Dear Pauline,
I have a few brief moments out of my busy life so wanted to thank you for your prompt response. I know how busy you are.
I made the chicken yesterday & it was good but not as good as yours. I think it was a little dry. I'll have to add milk or broth when I warm it up. I put it

in the freezer because I have some children coming next week & I'm keeping them for 4 days so I thought it would do well then. Of course you know everything always tastes better when someone else cooks.
Paul was here Monday night. His plane had mechanical problems & the flight was cancelled so he just

caught my husband before he left office & he picked him up at the hotel & brought him home for dinner & visit. My daughter is in Florida so I have my granddaughter & dog with me so it was pretty hectic but we visited a little, especially on our way down to airport hotel later. I know he has of lot of mixed emotions about this job but I think it's better he's doing

something. I'm anxious about the children & so I told him his priority is finding someone to stay with them. I think they need supervision and they need directions. They're good children but they're at a very vulnerable age. I'm not as concerned about Abby as I am about Paul. It's a difficult situation at best & no one to help out. I also think the children have to help a little with the house. At least Paul is realizing how much work women do all the time. It's and endless job. I just mentioned to my

husband yesterday "When do women get their chance to retire." Of course the answer is never, which is probably go to some degree but there are days I would like to forget abut cooking, cleaning, laundry, & food shopping. That's why I enjoy some time alone in Florida.
Hope this finds you both well.
Thank you again for the recipes and wonderful

friendship & hospitality.
Fondly,
{Helen}
