Hopewell was the name of a Friends community located just north of Pennsville and south of Malta. It is located on SR 377 in Malta Township. A relative of mine named Caleb Gregg is said to have built the meeting house, which is now a dwelling.
The burial ground is located at an intersection, on the east side of 377. I can't remember the number of the cross road, but I believe it is a county road with a low number (I believe it is CR8).
I have not researched the Embree family, so I don't know if the following information will be helpful. There is a Hicksite burial ground about a mile north of Hopewell on the west side of the road. It is located at another intersection. The meeting house was demolished there about 70 years ago.
