Dear Dick:
I enclose a check for $2.00 to cover your investment in gasoline. Sorry I had to bother you, but I wanted to be sure we would get to Wellington.
I very much enjoyed the trip from New York to Syracuse in your company. Many thanks for your hospitality.
Aletha is still working at the addressograph office, and Dan is over there too tonight. I had a touch of intestinal flu on Monday, but am back at work now. No further complications.
Dan is very grateful for you generous check. We hope he will get a new coat with it. I hope you hear from him soon.
I have your book on Italy. We can exchange books the next time we meet. Come to see us again soon.
Your ulcerated brother
Dan
P. S. I enclose one of the folders which arrived two days ago. If you know of anyone who might be interested I will be glad to send folders if you will let me have the names and addresses.
