Context

American Red Cross Blood Services Fort Wayne Region 1212 East California Road P.O. BOX 5025 Fort Wayne, Indiana 46895 (219)480-8100 July 9, 1992 Dear Cousin Paul: Hi Paul! Thanks for the Information on the Lamberts....Did you intend to send the photos besides the Xerox copies?? If you want the photos back, I will mail them to you.. Sorry I haven't written, but been so busy.. Starting in March, I have a new job here at Red Cross....Same as before only part-time. I like it, but go home to relax and forget to write letters... I flew to Bangkok, Thailand in Feb. via Detroit, then Seoul, Korea to spend 3 weeks with my son, Steven, who was doing his elective on International Medicine... I had a fabulous time--went up into Northern Thailand to Burma Triangle, then Southern part to primitive Island called Soi Samet...Rode elephant in hills for 2 hours and lived like a native rather than a tourist.... Steve graduated from I.U. Medical School on Mother's Day, May 10, 1992 and is now Dr. Steven Lambert Chaplin...He is in Honolulu, Hawaii at the University Hospital studying for Psychiatry.... I finally drove out to New Haven, IN to the IOOF (I think) and found Carole Lambert Misgades baby's grave...Here is your information: LAURA L. MISEGADES NOV. 3, 1954 Didn't have my camera with me, but will go again and take a photo of it..Right in front of her grave is the one for Ralph Lambert and Bertha Tustison Lambert (still living). Will take photos of theirs plus my folks at Greenlawn Cemetery next trip. Who are you flying for now?? I flew Northwest to Thailand and plan to fly to Hawaii next Jan. or Feb. to see Steve. Wish we could get together again.. I finally found all my old literature I was unable to locate when I was at Todd's last Fall.. Will be up there over Labor Day, so will take it with me. Gotta get busy. Let me know if you intended to keep the photos (in plastic folder) for yourself.... Sincerely, {Carolyn}
