I appreciate, more than you can ever know, the loyalty and thoughtfulness that prompted you to send me your lovely Christmas greeting.
I spent a very enjoyable Christmas holiday in Greenville, S. Carolina at the home of my daughter-in-law, where I had a wonderful opportunity to visit with five of my grandchildren and their families, including two great-grand-daughters. It was a really heart warming experience.
I am so grateful to the many friends and former students who have remembered me. I am in pretty good health, and I continue to teach a light schedule here at the house. It keeps me from worrying about myself.
