10 P.M. Friday
Had a good rally at Decatur. Sent my charts and briefcase to Bloomington with Dr. Bonebrake and I came here with Rev. E. Fowler who used to work for Otterbein Home but now is one of the pastors here. We lunched together and I came to hotel. We went to 1st church tonight where Rev. Forwood is pastor. He has two daughters in Otterbein. Glenn [Resselot] & wife are holding revival meeting at the church. We plan to drive out to Old Salem where Lincoln had store etc. Expect to see the tomb, home, museum etc & go on to Bloomington tomorrow evening. Your letter sent to Flora was forwarded to Decatur today. Very weary tonight so will go to bed.
Sat. Up at 5. Now 6:30. Will walk down to site of Lincoln's marriage, law office etc. Fowler will come in to take breakfast with me.
Hope all goes well.
Love to all,
J.H. Harris.
