Dear Lu —
We came home Aug. 9 expecting George to have serious surgery — but the larger scanner at the hospital here showed things not to be so serious. It has been a long, hard winter and he just wanted to stay in Naples. Anyway it has given me a chance to get the Ellwood Lambert records for you.
I wrote to Fern Dickinson in Modesto but she did not answer - Had a letter from Echo Star Lambert in answer to one I wrote but he had very little to offer - said write Ilone Lambert Gingrich. She did a wonderful job! We corresponded 1982 + 3. The last time I wrote she did not answer. She was b 1902 so may have died. I wish I had met her - she sounded darling in her letters.
Have copied the records Ilone sent. Heard from Elvin & Olga once and he offered to make a tape as arthritis made if hard for him to write. I never got the tape and he died not long after that.
Hope some of this will lead you to the younger generations. You can get an idea of their family assoc. from this info.

Hope all is well with you and yours. George requires a lot of care and I do not get much else done. He wants to go back to Naples as soon as the doctor will let him. We will probably put this place on the market - hard decision to make under the circumstances.
I'm so glad I could send you some information for a change. You have been so good to me!
The addresses I copied were in 1980. I can't believe it was so long ago. They probably will be of little help - but I'll send them anyway. I do not know who's who.
Will you be coming to Naples anytime soon? Be sure to let me know because we may be there.
Are thinking of going to the National Genealogical Meeting in the next year? I would really like to go - so let me know & we could room together.
