Tuesday.
Dear Dick:-
Yes, I got here all right and altho the bus ride was rather tiresome. Since I have been here I've had plenty to do. I may go down to Washington Saturday to visit the Brane's as they have invited me. It makes a nice pleasant train ride and costs only $1.25 for the round trip.
I got your letter about the leather coat and will send it to you. You can pay whatever you like on it but pay the money on my account at Freeman's & then let me know. I will tend to that bill at Norris's. Tell them to transfer the account.
Last Saturday Morton (on of my friends) & myself were invited out to a girl's house for an evening. She studies at the Peabody & is a great- great- granddaughter of Alexander Hamilton & so I have had a couple dates with her.
Well, tell me about school. I must
go over to the Conservatory now & practice.
Baltimore has bought a number of new street cars. They are unusually speedy and now you can ride in almost 3/4's of the time it takes to go on an older car.
Write.
Your brother,
Jimmie
