</P>Dear Dorothy & Marty:
Suppose that Helen called and told you that I took Skip home with a raging fever. Well, it seems like it is just a bad cold. He is doing quite well now. Just a slight temperature, mucous in the head an a little coughing, but it isn’t slowing him down too much. The doctor said to keep him as quiet as possible, but I can’t keep him in bed.
Midge is fine. She sneezed a few times, but that seems to be all there is to it.
Paul had an attack while I was gone, and the doctor said it was due to high blood pressure. He has put him on a 1000 a day calorie diet and no smoking. He is taking it pretty well, and feels much better.
I am so glad that I got a chance to visit with you short as it was. You have a nice place and I am sure that you are pretty comfortable and happy there. You have two lovely children and I was glad of the chance to get a little acquainted with them. I hope it won’t have to be too long before we get a chance to see them again.
Skip has a time remembering Mickey’s name. He keeps talking about Linda and the cowboy.
I am so glad that I got the chance to come down and meet Johnny. I think he is a grand guy and couldn’t have picked one any better for Helen. He comes from a nice family. Although we only had a short visit with them I felt like I had known them all my life.
Dot did you call Dr. Riley and what did he have to say. Be sure to follow that up so that you will know what you are being treated for.
Will close this for now as it is 12:30 a.m. and morning comes early as you know.
Paul joins me in sending love to all.
Love from Midge & Skip.
Margie.
