Dear Barbara,
I am most grateful to you for sending me the large package of information in January. I was totally unaware of Bruce Harris and his family as well as the marriage of Theodate Harris. The abstracts of the Athens County Marriage Records was most helpful to me as I now have all of those events appropriately documented in the computer.
Speaking of computers, I now have acquired my long awaited "notebook" class computer. It allows ‘me ‘to carry' my entire database around. with. me and look. up, as well as enter, any information right on the spot. I am looking forward to bringing it
to Athens this spring. I am really anxious for us to get together now that I can carry my "brains" with me.
In my last letter to you I sent a Descendancy Chart for Jordan Thomas Harris. Since that time I have succeeded in tracking down all of the living relatives of Jordan and Ida ($220.00 Phone Bill). I am including 21 new copy of that Descendancy Chart which is complete as of the date it was printed. I am also including a list of names and addresses of the living adult members of that branch of the Harris family. I am not sure you really care about this, but some day we may decide to track down all of Watson's or Richard's descendants, in which case, at least a small part of the job will already be taken care of.
