Dear Paul:
What a pleasure it is to hear from friends, relatives, and present and former associates and students at this magic time of year! I am rejuvenated by your good wishes and warm messages of concern. Thank you!
Christmas vacation was shared with son Dan and his family in Greenville, S. Carolina. The children are growing up rapidly, —two married, and one to be married soon. The twins are already fourteen! I got acquainted with my great grand daughter, Wendy.
I am grateful for so many things, —decent health, wonderful friends, this incredible climate, and work to do. The past semester found me back in the harness at the U. of Miami teaching a language diction course for singers, —Italian, French and German. I learned a lot! In the meantime private voice students of various levels continue to come to the house, and I enjoy working with them.
May 1985 be kind to you, —and thanks for remembering.
