Dear Dick:
Many thanks for your birthday check and the very clever cards. A lot of people have admired them.
Here's the latest dope on my trip north. On Wednesday June 9 I will fly to Columbus on Eastern flight #302, arriving at 7:30 p. m. I hope it will be convenient for you to meet me there at the airport. I plan to rent a car for four or five days. I am accustomed to driving an automatic gear shift. Perhaps you could make some inquiries as the what is available. I will have to find a place to stay Wed. and Thurs. nights. I will be staying in one of the Otterbein dorms Friday and Saturday nights, and on Sunday at 6"20 P. M. will take a plane for Atlanta, - Eastern flight #643 - where Dan will meet me. I hope this change of plans does not upset you too much. Please note that I will need a place to stay Wed. and Thurs. nights instead of Thurs. and Sunday.
The Lambert Book Fund is going quite well. I dug out an old picture of the Lambert family, - the younger five children, - and they are using it for a book plate. I am giving that silver tea set to Otterbein. They are very grateful to have it as they can use it for entertaining.
I look forward to the pleasure of seeing you again.
Affectionately, your brother
Dan
