Dear Bertha I just came from work at brick yd and will write a few lines while resting a little. I received pay for the two wks, only $1025 wk and $1475 this wk. Will send you Five Dollars ($500 ) to use in any way you like (get ice cream if you like). I will be at brick-yd fore part of next wk. Am getting along all right. You need not come home on account of things here until you are sure your visit is out. Let me know in good time when you want to come. If you prefer not to come alone I will go to come with you or else you may get one of the girls to come with you. Do what you think best about it. I hope you may have a nice visit next wk.
