Context

276 Forest St. Oberlin Ohio Dear Richard: I dreamed about you all night so it must be time to write. I thought you were struggling to get that thesis done and I hope it is true. Dan has two more weeks at Tanglewood. I think the Summer should mean much to him. Mr. Burns the public school man here is leaving for Wisconsin Univ. James's seem so happy over their little son. Carrie is back in Westerville with Phils. I think she plans to go to the P.I. Staceys are going to Mich for a month. And I think Aletha and boys may go over to drive back with Dan, see Niagra, & etc. I was sorry to learn the Columbus Symphony is folding up. Mr. & Mrs. Jenkins who were in Bonebrake, are here attending Rel. Ed. gathering and may call today. Let me know if you plan to get M.A. and come up if you get through and have a little rest. No car here till Dan gets home so you can come on bus. Carrie may call you to come up and see Phil. Tomorrow we are all invited to the Stacey's for dinner. Mr. Stacey will come and get us, and then bring us home. They go away on Sun. Floyd Roberts, lives at Pittsfield near Tanglewood and they had Dan for dinner. Their son is in school here. Carrie may come up this way and spend some time here if Aletha goes away. If she does not I may run over to Paul's or come to Grove City. With lots of love Mother.
