A long line of friends gathered to enjoy the sun and peaceful views arose “The Pond”. Many wonderful, but subdued cocktail hours were spent watching the sun set while enjoying “iced tea” as the children and spouses delighted in swimming and sailing. The friends were, and still are king time residents, known as “The Beach Bums” of Harvard.
