Came into Mr. Carski's posession:
purchased while on a camping trip in eastern canada about 1935, from Indians who built it. Another canoe was puchased by a member of the party. The campers observed the indians construct the canoes-- peeling the bark, benind ght ribs, and lashing the parts together. Brought back to Baltimore MD on the roof of a car. Stored in the basement for a while then kept in a shed at a friends house on Middle River. Rarley did it go into the water. Was in storage for about 25 yrs.
