top portion is is worse condition then the bottom half
once was painted with a grey paint to survive weathering of outside-- some is chipping away mainly at the top where the cover is placed
the 2 quadrantal sections on the sides have little paint on it as well most have come off
the gague in the front is broken and dose not work( has nothing inside of it/ and is rusted over on the inside)
the side panel hinges still work fine opening and closeing
inside the side panel one of the stick/ poles is stuck and can not be removed
both quardrantals are chipping away -- the metal not paint, so there are a few holes in it n cracks at the bottom portion where is connects to the binnacle
back is fine and has little paint chipping away
under compass inside-- rusted over the gears which do not move any more- can remove them however but only dirt is under it
