Description

Came from a Portuguese ship called the "Sacramento" which sailed from Goa in India for Portugal in 1647. A few months later she foundered in a storm off the inhospitable Eastern Cape coast and was wrecked. Several hundred sailtors, soldiers, and noblemen lost their lives in the disaster and only a handful survived to recount the story. protective seal put on it (has a shine to it) chiping away VERY fragile metal parts are very rusted (in poor condition) letter: good condition not torn, wore, anything envelope is alittle woren but not bad
