Chert Cobble also known as Flint When struck can create fire A chunk of Chert-- Flakes would be chipped off and used on spears and for other weapons A durable rock Has two shades of color: the outside is a pale white with tan and black colored areas (like lines) while the inside is dark brownish black On the outside the North Museum has marked: AF886 in black
