Bottom has a knob that turns and comes off then one of the circular paper can be placed in this spot (fits). bottom also has a pencil tip in a rusted metal thing that pushes on the paper and writes (proabably measurments). there are two little light bulbs that screw in too they are very unoticable: one is below the "hold up to enlarge" part and the other is below that alittle almost on the bottom. The eye peice has a plastic over it for the head to set into and be comfortable. to the left of the eye peice is another thing that unscrews but unknown what it is for. There are two clear filters that are connected and in front of the eye peice that still move (they are dirty though). To the right of the eye peice there is a peice of metal that reads " hold up to reduce, Hold up to enlarge" the knob connected moves to reduce or enlarge. There is a filter (white) that is connected to that.
The mirror is in decent condition its not broke but inside is alittle rusted. there is a metal flap that hits the mirror and is still connected. on the top of the sextant is an "off/ On knob" when moved it moves the ey peice in and out alittle.Collection

Screws are starting to rust (only 2 or so--all rest are fine). all knobs screw and unscrew with ease. looks like all peices that are important are attached and not loose. mirror is not cracked but alittle rusted onthe inside.
