Description

Spokeshave Made in the Old World tradition design. Used for smoothing out bumps and ripples on edges cut by hand, saber, or bandsaw-- particularly useful for rounding compund curves. The metal piece goes through the wood-- this is how the two connect and stay together Spokeshaves are almost essential for making paddles and very handy for cleaning up the insides of sea kayak cockpits. They work much like a block plane, but can be used on tight curves
