Description

Flat and Round Spokeshave "Seymour Smith & Son" is written on front This spokeshave is made in the old world traditional design. It is used for smoothing out bumps and ripples on edges cut by hand, saber, or bandsaw-particularly useful for rounding compound curves. Spokeshaves are almost essential for making paddles and very handy for cleaning up the insides of sea kayak cockpits. They work much like a block plane, but can be used on tight curves
