11' high steam whistle with handle and 10' long chain attached to handle. Grooved inside base to screw in to holder on ship. a whistle that produces sound with the aid of steam-- 3 parts-- whistle bell,steam orifice,and valve Has been polished.

Brass tarnished and deeply scratched. Bright yellow paint residue on cap and base. INterior screw threads very rusted. Chain attached is tarnished and discolored.
