The Date of July 10, 1887 is a few days after the militia forced the King to sign the constitution on July 6, 1887. (Bayonet Constitution). The constitution was promulgated on July 7, 1887. Would this cover have any historical significance being sent to a lumber dealer in Massachusetts? How did this cover get "fire singed?".
