Cover sent to Antonio da Silva from Funchal, Madeira to Hilo, Hawaii. Postmarked "Honolulu, Oahu, Mar 25, 1900. Brief Life History of António José Rodrigues When António José Rodrigues De Silva was born on 20 January 1846, in Sé, Funchal, Madeira, Portugal, his father, Pazs Da Silva, was 21 and his mother, Beatriz Da Câmara, was 21. He married Beatriz Josepha Da Camara on 1 February 1873, in Sé, Funchal, Madeira, Portugal. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 8 daughters. He immigrated to United States in 1878 and lived in Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii, United States for about 30 years. He died on 24 January 1920, in Hilo, Hawaii, Hawaii, United States, at the age of 74, and was buried in King Street Catholic Cemetery, Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii, United States.
