Early flights to Kailua-Kona on the Big Island in the bay and an outrigger canoetook passengers ashore. NC-4V, No. 4, Moloka'i was the last S-38 purchased and was first flown in July 1931. Inter-Island Airways was the predecessor Hawaiian Airlines.
