Assisi #20

Assisi #20: Inspired by a trip to Venice, Italy, Lynn Manos’ Assisi #20 presents the rolling hills of a countryside.
When viewing the painting, thick brushstrokes of green and tan are immediately apparent and draw the viewer in. Through close looking, the forms of small homes and trees began to emerge. Interested in the intersection of realism and abstraction, many of Manos’ works appear abstract in nature and only upon further observation can recognizable objects be identified.
