Jacobs Ladder: Jacob’s Ladder refers to a symbolic connection between Heaven and Earth, a term that originated from a dream by the biblical Patriarch Jacob described in the book of Genesis. More broadly, the title can refer to a state of transition, connectivity, or limbo, such as the way the different materials simultaneously feel unified while also each retaining a distinct identity.
