Neon
Typically reserved for mid-20th century storefront signs, neon has been reclaimed by artists as a medium for painting with light. In Steve Locke's untitled work, he utilizes neon to create text that reads, a dream. Locke's work often reflects on the uglier and often unseen parts of American history.
