Christopher Wade’s work depicts the unseen aspects of our urban environment while paying homage to a minimalist approach and providing a gateway to a familiar world. His work has a sensual touch, which demonstrates the intimate connection he has with his work. Symmetry, an interaction with light and shadow, as well as the natural geometry layout of our world, inspires his work. His images show us that through the intentional act of stopping time and examining a specific context, framed in just the right way, we can always find meaning even if that space is normally deemed unworthy of our attention.
