Khaki fur felt Australian Army slouch hat with four brass ventilating eyelets in the crown. The hat has a seven pleated puggaree around the crown and a leather sweatband. The puggaree has an RAAF badge attached, and the brim is unbound. The turn up is secured by a press stud. The leather head band is dry and cracked and a 2cm square has been cut from the turn up. The crown shows damage, with a hole at the top, front crease, while the brim has damage at the rear near the crown due to a wire hanger having been inserted for display.Use
