Cast metal lapel badge featuring the army 'rising sun' badge, naval anchor and airforce wings above a boomerang with the title 'Returned form Active Service'. Issued to members of the Australian armed forces after their discharge. Two lugs on reverse.

Framed photograph, painted British & Belgian flags, inscribed in wooden background (Paper slip "On Loan Jim Farrelly", found on top of this, but badge, 2023.17.3, was attached to frame with blue tack. Unsure who donated/loaned)
