Description

A Nazi dress K98 long bayonet, with black, lacquered, scabbard and black leather frog. The bayonet has the stamp of Carl Eickhorn, Solingen (a seated squirrel) on the upper blade, and the blade shows signs of damage. The thumb guard has broken away and the hilt has been repaired. The scabbard is black lacquer with a ball at the bottom. The paint shows wear and slight crazing. The frog shows cracking but is otherwise intact and unblemished.
