Glass and timber plaque with green marbled background. A central image consists of a family reuniting at the end of WW2, it is sepia toned and encircled by the words "AUSTRALIA REMEMBERS". The lower scroll reads "1945 - 1995".

Use

'Australia Remembers, 1945-1995' was a program organised by the Federal Government to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of the Second World War and culminated in key national ceremonies held in Brisbane on 15 August 1995 to mark the 50th anniversary of Victory in the Pacific. This commemorative plaque appears to be handmade as a memorial piece celebrating the 50th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
