Photograph of a group of seven (7) unidentified, Australian soldiers, with two unidentified First Nations men. One soldier and both First Nations men are seated upon a tree trunk, that is waiting to be cut. Four soldiers are standing around the log and two are squatting in front.
An Aboriginal man is wearing a singlet, pants, a belt and cap, the younger Aboriginal man is bare chested. The Australian soldiers are dressed in the summer uniform of the Australian army, including a Slouch hat, or bush hat. The ground around them is littered with other tree trunks and sawn logs.
