Photograph of a NX87654 Frederick Edwin Ernest WARNER . He wears a peaked cap, shirt , and possibly shorts. There is a watch on his left wrist and each shoulder epaulettes shows an "Australia" badge attached. The cap also has a Rising Sun badge attached. There is a large tree trunk in the foreground, quite possibly a gum tree, with water behind. On the far bank there is a large tree on the left which may be a gum tree and other trees can be seen on the rocky outcrop. Sapper Warner served in the operational area of the Northern Territory, Australia, north of parallel 14.5° south latitude, in the Darwin area, from 11 April 1942 to 20 July 1943.
