Minneapolis General Hospital nursing instructors gather on the shores of Lake Superior in 1934. In the photograph is Doris Miller, Assistant Superintendent of Nursing, Myrtle Hodgkins, Clinical Instructor of Medical Nursing, and Ruth Johnson, Clinical Instructor of Communicable Diseases, as well as an unidentified woman. The photograph is stamped by the NRA Pake Photo Services with an inscription that says, "We Do Our Part". It was likely created by the National Recovery Administration, founded in 1933 by Franklin D. Roosevelt.
