Black and white photograph of a Hennepin County General Hospital ambulance outside of the Emergency and Ambulance Entrance. Minneapolis General Hospital ownership went from the city to the county in 1964, prompting the name change. The hospital was renamed once again to Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) in 1974. The HCMC campus is now part of the Hennepin Healthcare system.
