The Pioneer Log CabinDescription
This building has a concrete slab floor and is approximately 29' X 16'. The log section was commercially constructed offsite, then assembled onsite by volunteer labour assisted by the builders. It has a peak roof covered by a special fibreglass/duroid shake. The cost of this building was approximately $25,000 exclusive of volunteer labour. Much of the money was made available by the late Willard Michell and his brother Fred.
