Red leather case, top colour darker than lower.Blue velvet lined in lower part, blue satin in top. Brass fiittings.Thimble inside. Lovely tall silver thimble with raised decorated rim. Wide band of pattern above with a narrow plain band above and below. Pattern band has background of dots with 13, 5 pointed stars raised around. Also shield with initials EC?. Punch mark on lower band. Knurling from pattern to and over top.
