Leather , brown, suitcase type thimble case. Brass fittings.Maroon velvet lining in case. Silver thimble with English hallmarks. Narrow band at rim with size -9 -, Birmingham and 1898. Wide band of pattern - diamonds within diamonds on a curved linear background. Knurling from band to and over top.
