Stone thimble holder in shape of shoe. Lower part in tones of grey, top around opening in white,bow at front white. 2 holes for thimbles, only 1 thimble as purchased. Silver thimble,out of round with plain raised band at rim. English hallmarks on band but the only one I can read is the Birmingham one. Waffle pattern from band to and over top.
