Dark brown leather thimble case, rectangular, with brass fittings. One nail missing. White satin inside top, deep pink velvet depression for thimble. Both top and bottom inside have gold edgings. No thimble. Thimble #229 added to case - tall but small silver thimble with facetted rim. Narrow indented line above then knurling to and over top. Marks in knurling.
