Egg shaped light brown wooden case - probably walnut. Pull off top. Nicely marked. Thimble - Silver thimble with band of raised dots at rim. Slightly rounded top. All over pattern of leaves and daisy like flowers with small circles and radiating lines. Inside top the Ketcham and McDougal logo , 8 (size) and Sterling.
