Description

Table top wooden butter worker with two small feet, cast iron handle and track and lobed wooden roller. Manufactured by A.H. Reid. Patented 1875.

Use

Used to roll partly finished butter, working in salt and pressing out any remaining buttermilk. The tray is tilted by two small feet on the side, so that the buttermilk flows through a hole in the back.
