Description

Standing hand- cranked metal cream separator. Manufactured by McCormick Deering, International Harvester Company Chicago

Use

The device separates milk into cream and skimmed milk. Milk is poured into the large bowl, and using the handle, the separator is spun, causing the milk to cling to the sides, while the cream collects in the middle. Platforms attached to the stand hold buckets to collect the cream and milk.
